Giving Watercolor More Than Just An Artistic Purpose

Incase you have never been to the Brayton Graphics office, we are hands down the biggest dog lovers. The owner, Liz, even brings her 2 American Pit Bull Terriers to the office some days. So when we were asked to create a style, look and business card set for Gretchen Jewell and her watercolor pet portrait business, we were honored. (Not to mention Gretchen is Liz’s mom!)
Gretchen painted a portrait of Liz’s past dog, Zeus, as a present for her and her husband. This was always a hobby to Gretchen, until she realized this is a high demand item to dog lovers. So using Zeus’ portrait as the main focus, we created a very simple and organic design to showcase Gretchen’s talent.
