Posted 06/07/2010

What do you get when you combine the talented folks at The Center for Economic Growth and the creative minds (if we do say so ourselves) at Brayton Graphics?
A. A knock your socks off marketing campaign promoting the Albany area.
B. Larger than life banners jazzing up Albany International Airport’s terminals.
C. An oh-so-exciting NYSEDC Best of Class for Printed Advertising Material Award.
D. All of the above.
You guessed it!
When asked to head up The Center for Economic Growth’s newest marketing campaign, we at Brayton Graphics stepped up to the challenge. Looking for high impact designs to be placed in the Albany International Airport, it was decided to “go big or go home.”
So, big we went.
With three massive 10' x 3' banners placed in each of the 3 terminals, and one, a whopping 22 feet long in the baggage claim, the terminals at Albany International are bedecked, and travelers are informed. The banners—offering interesting factoids about the region—promote Albany as an area of opportunity, education, and growth. What a great way to welcome visitors to the area!
The CEG, happy with the results, submitted the campaign materials to the New York State Economic Development Council’s Marketing Awards and…..
VOILA!
It won Best of Class for Printed Advertising Material! We are thrilled to have been a part of a campaign with the potential to impact the region in such a positive way. Congrats to The CEG for a job well done!
It just goes to show you that sometimes thinking bigger than the box is the only way to go!
